6 Powerful Secrets to Unlocking a Wealthy Mind

Wealth starts in the mind.

If someone isn’t in the right mindset, and if they don’t have the right beliefs, they’ll never be able to build incredible wealth. Instead, they will be held down by all of their fears, insecurities and limiting beliefs.

To become successful, I had to let go of my old mindset. I had to break free of the negative beliefs that were standing between the life I had always wanted and me.

I’ve learned from personal experience, and from watching others try and fail, that mindset can really boost or limit success. I’ve seen how the wrong mindset can absolutely devastate someone and how a positive mindset can help someone rise from nothing into somebody with incredible wealth and influence.

That’s why I want to share the secrets to a wealthy mind.

What I am about to go over are some of the most powerful tips that you’ll ever get for not only building wealth, but for breaking free of the scarcity mindset that is keeping you glued in place.

The Problem

Let’s start by examining a very common trap—and how to break out.

The biggest thing in your way is YOU.

You’ve allowed yourself to lock your potential away in a mental prison…and it may feel like you’ve thrown away the key.

In actuality, this is not the case.

In fact, you can let yourself out of your mental prison at any time. You’ve just spent so much time telling yourself that you’re stuck that you’ve begun to believe it.

Luckily, there are a few different changes that you can easily make to break yourself out of your mental prison and open yourself up to a whole world of success…

A Positive Outlook

How you view the world will greatly determine what you get from the world.

If all you see around you is negativity, you will fulfill this belief. You will constantly run into negativity everywhere you turn.

Part of this will be the environment that you create. Negative people often surround themselves with negative media and negative people.

The other part will be your inability to notice the good things around you. Your brain focuses on what you want to see and what you have conditioned yourself to see. If you’ve conditioned yourself to see only the negative, you can guess what you will see.

To break free of a negative mindset, you need to start focusing on creating a positive environment that will allow you to thrive. You need to surround yourself with positive media and positive people.

Above all else, you need to start conditioning yourself to think positive THOUGHTS.

An Abundance Mindset

The success and failure of millions of people out there comes down to whether they see the world as a place of abundance, or a place of scarcity.

This seemingly small, but fundamental, difference can really lead to someone making millions of dollars or getting stuck in a minimum wage job well into their thirties.

The belief that is constantly shoved down our throats is that there are very scarce resources and that we need to take what we can get and be happy with it.

People with a scarcity mindset believe there are limited amounts of:

  • Money

  • Opportunities

  • Customers

And so much more.

The reality is, there is always enough to go around…and there is always room to grow.

In order to succeed, the idea of scarcity needs to be removed replaced with a belief in abundance. Without this, entrepreneurs and other self-starters will get nowhere.

Take Action

Breaking free of a mental prison is about more than thinking through a mental block. Instead, people need to take action. Even if it’s only small action to begin with.

A marathon begins with a single step.

Push through uncertainty, and start doing what needs to be done to succeed. Doing this will create momentum, which breaks people free of their mental prison.

I personally use the PEG method to break down my big goals into smaller, more actionable steps.

Take Risks

The modern mindset is extremely risk-adverse.

Luckily, times are changing, and becoming self-employed has slowly shifted towards becoming normalized. Still, many people are afraid to take risks, which has kept them trapped in a life of mediocrity.

Taking calculated risks is the only way you can truly build wealth.

No one got super rich as an employee. Even the highest-paid earners generally only make $500,000 a year. While this sounds like a lot, it isn’t millions.

To make that kind of money, potential entrepreneurs need to…

Step Outside of Their Comfort Zone

We all get comfortable at some point, which leads us to not want to rock the boat.

This comfort quickly becomes complacency, and this complacency leads to stagnation. Stagnant people don’t reach their goals and definitely don’t become rich!

I know firsthand that chasing a dream can be super uncomfortable and scary. I wouldn’t be where I am if I didn’t step outside of my comfort zone, though.

Enjoy the Journey

More than anything else, it’s important to enjoy the journey. Actually, enjoying the journey is one of the best ways to get past fears and discomfort!

By getting lost in the process, it becomes easier to put nerves aside and have FUN. Remember, life is about the journey…

Have fun building wealth and reaching goals. It’s going to be your life for a long time, so you may as well enjoy it!

Be Creative

The final aspect of the wealth mindset that is important to reach a place of real, significant and lasting success is creativity. The richest and most successful people in the world all have this in common…

They think outside the box.

The rich are able to think up excellent, innovative ideas and then pull the trigger on those ideas. They are able to think outside of the box, and try new things that others have failed to consider.

This requires them to make bold decisions.

Having a new idea and then taking risks to implement that idea can be terrifying! This is especially so if it’s something that no one else has tried before…

Here’s the thing…rich people are BOLD. They take creative risks even though those risks may fail.

The funny thing is, many people have amazing, potentially game-changing ideas, but they get nowhere.

Why?

Because they don’t execute those ideas. They aren’t bold, and they don’t step outside of their comfort zone.
