A little over a month ago, I had a BIG IDEA to start a World Tour as a way to connect with more of my students face-to-face.
You can read more about it here in this blog post.
For every person I meet 1-on-1, I want to sit with him or her, answer questions, give advice and really help with their online business. To keep it personal and maximize my face-to-face time, I’m keeping these events pretty small - maybe 30-40 people.
My goal is to meet at least 1,000 students in person this year.
I plan to travel all over the world this year to meet these 1,000 students in person (maybe even YOU!)! I'd love to know what city you want me to visit.
Well, this week, thanks to my team and some amazing students, Anik's World Tour came to life! I couldn’t think of a more appropriate place to start my World Tour than where I live — the Washington, D.C. area!
Over 30 students met me in Tyson's Corner on Monday, February 8th and it was awesome!
It went even better than expected!
A big shout out to my team and HUGE thanks to all of you who braved the cold weather and came to my first tour stop! I've got some great highlights and pics to share from the event, but before we get to that...
We have plenty more tour dates coming, with new cities being added regularly!
If you're planning to join me at a future stop on my “World Tour” — perhaps in Vancouver, Los Angeles, or Mumbai, India — take a minute to read what took place at my FIRST tour stop in D.C. so you can know what great times you're in for :)
Highlights From My Washington D.C. Tour Stop
The D.C. tour stop completely sold out, which didn't surprise me... But what did surprise me is where some of the students came from.
I was really just expecting everyone would be from the Virginia, Maryland and D.C. area.
But this wasn’t the case!
We actually had people drive down from Connecticut and New York. That’s a 9+ hour drive… through the SNOW just to meet with me. I was shocked!
We had a vast range of students.
Some were just getting started, and asked a bunch of questions. Some had already been Lurn students for awhile and had already had great successes - big lists and major profits! I enjoyed meeting every single student and learning about their goals, their successes and their struggles.
The cool part about having these smaller, intimate gatherings is it allows us to really focus on what the students want to learn the most.
For this group of students, it was technology.
So during the 1-hour training session, that's where I spent much of my time.
After the training, we all relaxed a bit more and got to know each other better over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. It was a great time for the students to take turns bouncing their specific questions off of me and each other.
Not only did I share tons of valuable info with these students, they also learned from one another. This type of event is such a great way for like-minded people, who share similar goals, to connect and create a local community!
They even formed a powerful mastermind group that I'm sure will benefit each member for years to come!
The best part was everybody was exchanging tons of great stories and really bonding. Plus, I learned a lot about the people who came, and my students as a whole, which will only help me serve you and Lurn Nation better.
Before everyone left, I gave each person a signed copy of my new book for free, The Circle of Profit, Edition #2.
We'll be adding more throughout the week, so be sure to check back... Please feel free to tag yourself!
From the first minute I got to shake their hands to the final hugs and goodbyes, I can say without a doubt that my first tour stop in D.C. was one of the best events I’ve done.
I can't wait for the coming cities on my World Tour! I hope to meet you at one of them :)
I just wish I had thought of this 1-on-1, face-to-face opportunity to meet more of my students years ago...
If you want to take part in this exclusive opportunity and to get my personalized training and advice from me, the Los Angeles and Mumbai tour stops are filling up fast.
