Role Summary – The Day To Day

Pretty much from Day #1 – you will start getting projects. We film the following kinds of videos:

  1. Social Media
  2. TV Shows For YouTube & Other Social Networks
  3. Promotional Ads For Digital Marketing
  4. Sales Videos For Product Promotion
  5. Content Videos for Our Students

Your typical day will be about 80% editing and 20% filming. This can change easily week over week. Our CEO, Anik Singal, usually films videos for at least 1 hour a day, soon to go up to 2 hours a day.

This is a fast-paced work environment. Most of what you film will need to be turned around and edited within 24 to 72 hours, not everything, but most of it. You will have support and help when needed also.

As a Videographer/Editor, Your Responsibilities:

  • Set-up studio for filming & production
  • Understand how to set-up great lighting for each set.
  • Keep up to date on the latest equipment and make the appropriate suggestions
  • Film content using a 2-3 camera set-up. Manage all cameras yourself.
  • Edit videos using the templates and formulas we use
  • Create the lower thirds and text pop-outs as needed – without being told when/where for each one.
  • Work at a fast but accurate pace.
  • Quick turnaround on projects that are filmed – 24 to 72 hours for most of them.
  • Assist the video team in LIVE production and studio management.
  • Suggest equipment purchases and put together budgets for new equipment needed.

Qualifications & Skills (MUST HAVE):

  • High school degree required. Bachelors degree is a plus.
  • ADOBE Suite of software.
  • DSLR Experience
  • Knowledge of proper lighting and studio setup.
  • Good grammar and English
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of software.
  • Serious self-starter who enjoys producing and seeing their work come to life.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video filming
